Meet Jonathan D. Sims, JD

Jonathan was born and raised in Camrose. He studied Contemporary Music and Technology in Nelson, British Columbia, and Education at the University of Alberta prior to attending law school at the University of Saskatchewan, where he earned his law degree in 2015.

Jonathan returned to article in Alberta and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2016. He joined Fielding & Company in 2017 and became a partner in 2024. Jonathan’s practice areas include civil litigation, real estate, wills and estates and corporate and commercial law. He enjoys building excellent relationships within the community and assisting clients with a wide variety of legal work.

Jonathan is an avid Edmonton Oilers and Toronto Blue Jays fan. In his spare time he also enjoys playing and listening to live music, biking, and spending time with his friends and family.
