Harry Gaede and Alan Fielding opened the doors of their new law office in Camrose on August 1, 1973. Though they had both spent most of their lives to that point in Edmonton, they were convinced that Camrose was the place to build a satisfying legal career and an excellent place to raise their children. 30 plus years later, their vision for the firm and for themselves has been amply borne out.

In 1980 the firm of Gaede and Fielding expanded to include Ken Rostad, and the next year Hameed Syed joined the firm. In 1986 Ken left for the bright lights of the Legislative Assembly to become Minister of Justice. In 1987 Ian Smith joined us, and in 1992 Wayne Throndson became the newest member of the firm.

In 1988 Harry Gaede received his Q.C. designation and in 1990 Alan Fielding was designated a Queen's Counsel.

In 1992 Harry Gaede was appointed an Alberta Provincial Court Judge, sitting in Camrose.

On June 30, 2005 Alan Fielding retired from active practice.

On January 31, 2006, Hameed Syed received his Queen's Counsel designation.

Daniel Mol joined the practice on June, 1, 2007.

On December 31, 2007, Ian Smith was appointed Queen's Counsel.
